Endowment Prizes

The following prizes are instituted and awarded annually to meritorious students.

1. Smt. Y.N. Satyaveni Memorial Prize instituted by Late Mrs. M. Jayalakshmi, Former Lecturer in Botany, S.P.W. College to a final year student who is best in debates and extra curricular activities.
2. Smt. Vimala Satyanarayanaiah Memorial Prize instituted by K.M. Satyanarayana to a student who secures highest marks in Zoology in the first year Public Examinations, instituted.
   • To a Student who secures highest marks in Zoology in the second year Public Examinations.
   • To a student who secures second highest marks in Zoology in the second year public examinations.
3. Lord Srinivasa prize instituted by Miss. G.S. Saraswathi, Former professor of History, S.P.W. College to a student securing highest marks in History in the first year public examinations.
4. Sri Alamelumanga prize instituted by Miss. S. Saraswathi, Former Professor of Enlgish, S.P.W. College to a student securing highest marks in Advanced English in third year public examinations.
5. Late K.S. Sastry Memorial Prize donated by Mrs. P. Aravinda, Former Head of the Department, Telugu, S.P.W. College to a student who secures highest marks in Advanced Telugu in second year public examinations.
6. Sri P.S. Prakasam Prize instituted by Mrs. P.Aravinda former Head of the Department, Telugu S.P.W. College to a student who secures highest marks in Advanced Telugu in First Year Public Examinations.
7. Smt. Subbalakshmi Srinivasan Memorial Prize instituted by S.K. Srinivasan, Former Head of the Department, Philosophy, S.P.W. Degree College.

9. Late Smt. V. Nirmala Memorial Prize instituted by Dr. C. Ramamohan Rao.

10. Staff club prize instituted by Dr. P. Vatsala Reddy, Former Head of the Department, English, S.P.W. College, in memory of Late Mrs. V. Nirmala to an outgoing student for her proficiency in English.
11. Late Maddi Sudarsana Rao Memorial Prize Instituted by Mrs. M. Kanakavalli, Former Demonstrator in Physics, S.P.W. College to a Final Year (ZPC) student securing highest marks in Physics in I and ll year Public Examinations.
12. Smt. C. Vinayasree Prize instituted by Mrs. C. Vinayasree, former Lecturer in Chemistry, S.P.W. Degree College.

36. Smt. Kunthalamma & Sri Addoora Veera Raghavaiah merit scholarship instituted by NRI Student Dr. A Subhodaya to three students of final year B.A., B.Com., and B.Sc., based on their academic performance in the first two years of the University Examinations.

38. Smt. K. Sarojamma wlo Justice K. Jayachandra Reddy, Secunderabad donated Rs. 1,00,000/- as an endowment fund in the memory of their son Late K. Sudhakar Reddy (Computer Engineer, E.I.C.L., Hyderabad). The cash award is given for B.Sc., (MPCs) topper student in Computer Science subject every year, from this accrued interest.
